Specialist Committee Member recruitment to the Medical Technology Advisory Committee, Digitally-enabled therapy for tic disorders in children and young people
The independent Medical Technology Advisory Committee considers evidence on the clinical and cost effectiveness of innovative medical technologies and formulates recommendations to the NICE Diagnostics Programme on the adoption of the technologies in the NHS.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence would like to invite you to nominate a Specialist Committee member for the Medical technologies advisory committee – digitally-enabled therapy for tic disorders in children and young people. Candidates are expected to have a good knowledge of the issues in the clinical area, but not necessarily have experience using the specific technology.
Examples of the specialists required include but are not limited to:
- child and adolescent mental health nurse
- paediatric cognitive behavioural therapist
- paediatric clinical psychologist
- paediatric neuropsychologist
- paediatric psychological wellbeing practitioner
- paediatric psychiatrist
- paediatric psychotherapist
- paediatric speech and language therapist
- paediatric neurologist
