Successful candidates will learn new key technologies or techniques, strengthen collaborations and develop new partnerships through research placements. Applications are welcome from:

• partner sites (Alder Hey, Birmingham and Sheffield Children’s Hospitals) where they are proposing for the research placement to take place a GOSH/UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (UCL GOS ICH)
• where they can demonstrate the proposed placement is to learn a new technology/technique or develop a new partnership that directly relates to or benefits a collaborative project between partner site(s) and GOSH/UCL GOS ICH

The call is aimed at early career researchers; including clinicians, non-clinical researchers, nurses, AHP staff, health care professionals, pharmacists and any others not mentioned here, who are working in translational research into childhood illnesses.

Applicants can request up to £5,000 funding for a national or international placement for 2-4 weeks.
