An incredible opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join us at The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Children and Young People MedTech Co-operative (CYPtech) Hosted by Sheffield Children’s Hospital. CYPtech were established in January 2018 and we are looking to expand our team. CYPtech is a centre of expertise funded by the NIHR to act as a catalyst within the NHS for the development of new medical devices, healthcare technologies and technology-dependent interventions. CYPtech’s focus is on children with long term conditions and is a national network that has 7 dedicated themes.

The successful post holder will work with the Programme Manager and the Clinical Director to manage a specific project based around the paediatric virtual ward programme. As part of the NHSx Joined up Care programme and funded by NHSx and delivered by the Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network, this role will support evaluation of the use of TytoCare in the Yorkshire and Humber project region. The post will be based at Sheffield Children’s Hospital but will involve working closely with other partners in the Yorkshire and Humber region, our academic partners and other members of the medical technology community. There will be occasions when travel to regional stakeholders and national meetings is expected as part of the role.

We will provide excellent opportunities for professional development. In return, we are seeking candidates who have an excellent range of project manager skills. Proven recent experience of coordinating and supporting complex projects would be an advantage. Successful applicants will be required to adopt a flexible working pattern and will be expected to work autonomously at times but also be an excellent team player.
