NIHR CYP MedTech hosted a session at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) 2019 annual conference.

The session was titled Technology Transforming Child Health – Changing the Future of Paediatric Healthcare. 

NIHR CYP MedTech has seven themes, each led by a key opinion leader in their field. This session focussed on the development of some of the most advanced and exciting technology to support child health and to inspire paediatric health care professionals about the future direction of paediatric healthcare delivery.

The programme was fast moving providing the audience with an overview of the latest technologies being developed in the NIHR CYP MedTech theme areas. 

Professor Paul Dimitri, Mr Iain Hennessey, Professor Helen Cross, Dr Helena Gleeson, Professor Heather Elphick, Professor Gail Hayward, Dr Chris Bird, and Jennifer Preston gave short updates on the progress being made in their respective areas.

The session was extremely well attended by paediatric healthcare professionals.
