Reflections on four years of NIHR CYP MedTech

As we approach the end of another busy and exciting year at NIHR CYP MedTech, it is important to reflect on how far we have come in the last four years.
As our networks have grown, and our focus has evolved to respond to new and emerging challenges in the child health technology community, we are proud to say that we remain true to our original, core values – putting children, young people and families at the heart of everything we do.
By working in meaningful collaboration with families alongside healthcare, academia, charities and industry, our portfolio, reach and impact has grown across the UK and internationally. This network approach has allowed us to continually push ourselves into new areas and deliver a range of ‘firsts’ in this field, including the UK’s first robotics in paediatric health showcase, the inaugural Child Health Technology Conference, and looking ahead to the UK’s first National Centre for Child Health Technology.

For the team at NIHR CYP MedTech, this work is only the beginning. We are passionate about continuing to build a global community dedicated to Child Health Technology, and look forward to seeing what the next few years will bring.
