We are delighted to share that the ‘ADHD Hero Activity Book’ is now available to download from the ADHD Foundation website!

The ‘ADHD Hero Activity Book’ is the result of a collaboration between NIHR CYP MedTech, The University of Sheffield, The University of Derby and Sheffield Hallam University. Through a series of co-design workshops with children with ADHD, and their families, the teams were able to co-create a fun psychoeducational resource suitable for primary school aged children.

The booklet covers a broad range of topics, taking an asset-based approach to discussing symptoms, management, how to talk to your friends about ADHD, and of course the ‘superpowers’ that ADHD can bring!

We are delighted that the hard work of children and families who helped to create this resource is being recognised by the booklet’s inclusion on the ADHD Foundation website. It is also currently being used and promoted by Family Action Sheffield, as well as 7 schools and 9 NHS Trusts across the UK.
