NIHR Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative Seedcorn Competition 2022 is now open

The NIHR Brain Injury MedTech Co-operative are pleased to announce the launch of their 2022 Seedcorn Competition.
Applications are invited for funding for up to £10,000 to support the early development of novel technology-based solutions applicable to the brain injury pathway from prevention through to long term rehabilitation that include Patient and Public Involvement.
In 2021 four projects were awarded from the Seedcorn Competition, including:
Explainable artificial intelligence based on magnetic resonance imaging for precision treatment for glioblastoma: Dr Chao Li, Department of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics, Cambridge.
Towards routine objective measurement of physical activity in patients hospitalised after a stroke: Dr Peter Hartley, Department of Physiotherapy, Cambridge
Testing the risk compensation hypothesis – does protective headgear promote aggressive play? Ms Judith McMinn, Rezon Limited
Feasibility study for a coagulation tracking app: Dr Ellie Edlmann, University of Plymouth
