An incredible opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join us at The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Children and Young People MedTech Co-operative (CypMedTech)

Hosted by Sheffield Children’s Hospital, CypMedTech were established in January 2018. CypMedTech is a centre of expertise funded by the NIHR to act as a catalyst within the NHS for the development of new medical devices, healthcare technologies and technology-dependent interventions.

Main duties of the job

You will join a small team, headed up by our Clinical Director, Programme Manager and project management team, with support from the Research and Development team.

  • Support key personnel within the consortiums to co-ordinate all activities to secure a coherent approach to MIC activities, administration, communication, project development and budget management.
  • To support the implementation and ongoing project management of high quality projects and support the delivery of the ongoing portfolio of paediatric based projects.
  • To support the Programme Manager and Clinical Director in the delivery of CypMedTech’s annual goals.

You must be an efficient autonomous worker, capable of building relationships and fostering team work within the research and development projects across the consortium. You will need excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise issues, to meet objectives within agreed timeframes and achieve results in a constantly changing environment.
