Virtual reality (VR) researcher, games developer, and NIHR CYP MedTech collaborator, Ivan Phelan, was featured on BBC Breakfast, BBC Click, BBC News, and BBC World News about his work with VR.

Ivan and colleagues are currently working on a collaborative project with Sheffield Children’s Hospital researching how VR might help children with hand and arm injuries complete their rehabilitation.

Children with hand and arm injuries frequently struggle to complete their rehabilitation exercises due to pain and fatigue. Ivan and colleagues have been creating VR to help motivate children to complete their rehab.
